Visiting The Museum of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses in Xi'an, China

"The museum of terra-cotta warriors and horses is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shih Huang, the 1st Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with emperor in 210–209 BC and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife. " wikipedia

The museum is located quite a distance away(30 minutes drive) from the city center of Xi'an. I was traveling with my parents and we had our own private driver to drive us there. I'll definitely recommend travelers who wants to visit the museum to join a the local tour or hire your own private driver and get a tour guide when you're at the museum.

The entrance ticket price to the museum is RMB90. Inside the museum, there are 4 main pits and it will take around 3 hours to visit all of it.

I've always seen the terra-cotta warriors through tv programs till I get to see the real thing. It was an amazing experience and I was beyond words upon seeing the magnificent sculptures.
